HYPERTENSION
It is also known as high blood pressure, when blood is flowing through the arteries or veins there is a natural pressure, which is known as blood pressure. (Lateral Pressure on the walls of vessels). There is a physiological variation in the normal blood pressure. If high blood pressure persists for long time there are adverse effects on heart, kidney and brain. Hence care should be taken in cases of high blood pressure.

  • LEMON is useful in lowering the high blood pressure. It also reduces discomfort in the abdomen and by that blood pressure too. It also prevents an attack of paralysis. Due to hypertension.
  • One must eat GARLIC every day for lowering and controlling the high blood pressure.
  • MILK, EGGS and all FRUITS are to be used abundantly in every day diet. These provide proteins and vitamins for daily use. Avoid oily and fried food articles from the diet. Salt should be minimum in diet. Eat little at a time and divide it into 5-6 times a day. To eat more at a time gives some trouble only.
  • Include BEAN in a diet. It reduces the high blood pressure. Eat leaves of RADISH. Drink juice of radish. It helps in reducing blood pressure.
  • Eat BARLEY. It is useful in hypertension.
  • 100 ml of juice of raw CABBAGE with 1/4 teaspoon of cumin seed powder to be taken in the morning on empty stomach. Take it for two months.
  • Avoid common salt, yogurt, meat, fish, frozen food articles e.g. ustards, ice creams, jelly, cold water (from refrigerator)
  • Avoid fatty substances.
