Functions of mind are very complicated. Mental diseases and body diseases are related to each other hence known as psychosomatic diseases. Eating or drinking habits, atmosphere around us, non-fulfilment of various desires and ambitions are some of the causes of such ailments.

  • SOYABEAN is best for proper growth of the brain and nerves and to maintain its efTiciancy.
  • When there is work related to the brain strain, then eat ALMONDS.
  • If person is irritable, then keep RAISINS / sultanas in water overnight. Macerate in the morning. Filter the water. Add LEMON juice and drink it. It is best remedy for such habit.
  • CASHEW NUTS are best for reducing the exhaustion of the brain.
  • PISTACHEO NUTS are best in the diseases of nerves.
  • Depression is due to lack of Vit. B complex. Brown RICE, WHEAT with HUSK, PULSES, PEA NUTS, LIVER, and MUTTON are seful in such cases.
  • If calcium intake is less then there is irritability. So use MILK, CARROT, FISH, curry leaves in the diet.
  • To maintain the cells in the brain in active state eat liver, brain, kidney, bread, and yeast.
  • To reduce nervousness drink FRUIT JUICE, MILK with sugar, Biscuits in between the meals.
  • MILK, CHEESE, sprouted wheat, yeast are useful in forgetfulness
