STOMATITIS (MUKHAPAKA)
There is an inflammation of tongue (glossitis) and inner lining of mucus membrane of mouth (Stomatitis). Sometimes eruptions on tongue or fissures can be seen. There is burning or hot sensation while eating, swallowing, speaking and sometimes pain. Caries teeth, faulty dentures, heavy smoking, less immunity, some diseases of blood, are the causes.

  • If stomatitis is due to deficiency of riboflavin then MILK, GREEN VEGETABLES, LIVER are useful.
  • BARLEY and other cereals are to be used in the form of soup.
  • Luke warm WATER for drinking is useful.
  • CORIANDER leaves to be chewed.
  • CARROT leaves may be chewed for relief.
  • Roast or bake POTATO and eat it. It is very useful.
  • Fresh PEANUTS are useful in this condition.
